How to Prepare for Your Window Film or Auto Protection Appointment

Short answer
For home or commercial film, clear a few feet in front of windows, remove fragile items from sills and plan pet access. For vehicles, arrive with the car reasonably clean and personal items removed from door pockets and rear decks. Ask about timing so you know when you can drive, wash or clean windows afterward.
Homes
- Clear about three feet in front of windows being filmed
- Remove items from sills and take down blinds or curtains if possible
- Plan for pets to be kept away from the work area
- Let us know about alarm sensors or window features
Commercial buildings
- Confirm access times and after-hours entry
- Notify staff or tenants about the schedule
- Move desks or displays away from glass where needed
- Identify a point of contact on site
Vehicles
- Remove items from door pockets, rear deck and cargo area
- Bring the vehicle reasonably clean — especially for PPF and coatings
- Plan transportation if the vehicle stays longer
- Ask about cure times for windows and washing
