UV & fade protection window film
Protect hardwood, rugs, furniture, art and merchandise from sun damage — often with film you'll barely notice is there.
Does window film prevent fading?
Window film significantly slows fading but can't prevent it entirely. Quality films block most ultraviolet light, a major cause of fading. Visible light and heat also contribute, so combining UV protection with some heat and light reduction offers the most protection for valuable furnishings, flooring and displays.
Can UV window film be clear?
Yes. Clear and very light UV-blocking films are designed to keep your view and room brightness nearly unchanged while blocking most UV. They're a good fit when appearance matters most, such as historic homes, galleries or storefronts where you don't want a visible tint.

Frequently asked questions
What causes fading besides UV?
Visible light, solar heat, humidity and the material itself all play a role. UV is a major contributor, which is why UV-blocking film helps so much, but it isn't the only factor.
Is UV film good for storefronts?
Yes. It helps slow fading of merchandise and displays, and clear options keep your storefront inviting.
Does UV film help with skin protection indoors?
Film blocks most UV passing through the glass, which reduces UV exposure near windows. It's a helpful layer, not a medical treatment.
Can I get UV protection without any tint?
Yes. Clear UV films are designed for exactly that.
